"Sonic Fuze is here to ignite the stage with jazz, funk, and fusion all wrapped into one electrifying sound. Brothers Lyndon and Lachie Riggs on Sax and Drums (often mistaken for twins!) formed the project during the 2020/21 lockdown through mutual connections and their love of jazz and improvisation.

Influenced by a blend of 70/80s jazz-funk-fusion (Herbie Hancock, Brecker Brothers, Casiopea) and modern groove/neosoul hits (Snarky Puppy, Hiatus Kaiyote, Robert Glasper), they’re all about catchy melodies and infectious grooves.

After a packed show at Bar Oussou just down the road last month, they hope to carry their momentum to Edi Castle, delivering an explosive night of high-energy jams.”
