Blackham/Lee brings together saxophonist Elly Blackham and pianist Abi Lee in a duo setting. Meeting at the VCA, the two share a love for creative improvised music both in and adjacent to the jazz tradition. They will present a series of original music as well as contemporary Australian jazz and standards reimagined for a duo. Together they will highlight the creative storytelling and freedom present in improvised music whilst shared between good friends!
