darby is a prolific Sydney musician who has released three albums since the beginning of the pandemic, her debut record 'Suburbia' released with Sydney Indie label Evening Records (Launched at The Vanguard September 2020) illuminates Bec O'Brien's candour and aptitude for story telling as well her ability to build new roads amidst the indie folk rock landscape.

darby and her trio of long time collaborators have attracted attention from some of the industry's leading bookers, they have fronted many of Sydney's most reputable venues supporting Triple J album of the year winner Tia Gostelow at the Lansdowne and Shane Howard of the infamous 70s Aussie rock group Goanna.

darby's recent bodies of work 'Suburbia' and 'At The Beach' have received critical acclaim with community radio rotation in NSW, triple J unearthed rotation, interviews and podcasts on 2SER, Eastside FM and 2RRR and is gearing up to drop her 4th EP come 2022.
