Hamish Macleod is a Melbourne singer/songwriter. After fifteen years of playing his solo sets with an acoustic guitar he has made the leap to performing with an electric, and the results have been amazing. His sound now incorporates both the song writing and lyricism of artists such as Niel Young and Leonard Cohen with the sonic possibilities of the electric shown so well by bands such as Mogwai, Nirvana and Pink Floyd. It’s a captivating, dynamic and eclectic performance which only builds on his previous shows that have seen him share bills with artists such as Hugo Race, Kim Salmon, Spencer P Jones and Jess Rebiero.
