Melbourne born singer-songwriter Shannen James found a love for performing and singing at the young age of six. Throughout the following decades, her passion for music developed into a love for songwriting and melody. Her new EP ‘Getaway’ released late last year is a nod to her individualised sound, melodic sensibility and features her youthful and coloured vocals. Influenced by artists such as Fleetwood Mac and Jack Johnson for her ‘dreamy folk pop vibe’, Shannen’s live performance creates the same pleasantries and easy listening atmosphere during that are are just as much captivating as they are hypnotising.
