Crumhorn is the solo electro-acoustic project of Melbourne based multi-instrumentalist and
sound-artist, George Worthy.
Playing clarinet, bassoon, zither, percussion, FX processing, sampling and live-looping his
music brings together historical classical music, jazz, klezmer, and sound art through
improvisation and electronic manipulation, creating lush textures of melody, harmony and
asymmetrical rhythms.
“Master of the floaty dance-floor”, Crumhorn is set to send your mind afloat.
Crumhorn has played at Rainbow Serpent Festival 2018, and around Melbourne both as a
solo artist and with various ensembles.
