Having discreetly recorded and released two albums earlier this year Alex Pijpers brings his story song stylings to the Edinburgh Castle on Sunday the 12th of November. His music draws on influences such as Leonard Cohen, Jackson C Frank and Mirel Wagner among many others and his focus is on treating the story telling folk tradition with literary and sonic influences that fall outside the folk canon. 2 sets from 4pm.
