Possum is the solo project of Kizzy Davies, based in Naarm/Melbourne, Victoria. Skilfully shifting between cheeky and poignant, Possum's intricate and evocative songwriting is consistently full of love for the stories it tells. Combined with traditional Australian folk songs telling yarns about the goldfields, bushrangers and Australia's love affair with drink, her music captures a snapshot of Australia that threads cultural narratives through time and place; from the historical to a surreal present.
