Having discreetly recorded and released two albums in early 2018 Alex Pijpers brings his story song styling to the Edinburgh Castle on Friday the 11th of January, His music draws on influences such as Leonard Cohen, Jackson C Frank and Mirel Wagner among many others and his focus is on treating the story telling folk tradition with literart and sonic influences that fall outside the folk canon. 2 sets from 6pm.
