No Language, the debut cassette by Caroline No, made it into the both Gorilla vs Bear US top fifty records of 2015 and Grapefruit Record Club staff picks for 2015: “Caroline Kennedy’s songs are commanding in their nonchalance, which makes sense given the one microphone-improvised nature of how they were recorded. Kennedy achieves an amazing effect with that approach, allowing the listener to feel like she is living within the open boundaries of the song”. No Language will be out on vinyl any day now, via Cincinnati label Students Of Decay. Also due for release this year is Swimmers, a Caroline No LP produced by Mick Turner of The Dirty Three, coming out on Soft Abuse (Minneapolis).

Caroline No is Caroline Kennedy and Ian Wadley, sometimes joined by others including Helen from the Garbage And The Flowers, Nick from Tyrannamen or Mick from Dirty Three. They bring their dreamy psychedelia to the Edinburgh Castle for two weeks of Fridays in early august – the 4th  and 11th, supported by musical friends tba.
