The EC is a diverse area capable of supporting both large & smaller, more intimate functions. We have hosted everything from local community group meetings, to all out dress up parties for 100 people plus!

We have our front bar if you just want a casual meeting place & don't mind sharing with others, the main dining room which is available for private use for groups up to 90 people (standing) & our expansive beer garden for groups of all sizes.

There is no room hire charge, just some minimum purchases for food & drink in some circumstances.


To ensure everyone leaves feeling satisfied we have a special functions menu that can be tailored to your requirements.


How many guests do I need to be considered a function?
We consider functions to be for groups of 20 or more.

Is there a special function menu available?
Sure is, this is available for functions only and has a great section of food including options for varying types of dietary requirements. Submit an enquiry online to receive a copy of our menu.

Can I order off the al-la-carte menu?
We would recommend you avoid ordering from the al-la-carte menu. We have created a wonderful function menu for you to pre-order from. This is so your event will be catered to and served as priority on the day/night of your event.

Can I bring my own cake?
Yes, you can bring your own cake. We don’t charge cakeage but you will have to serve yourself. Just like at home.

Can I bring extra food?
No extra food can be brought onto the premises. All our food is prepared in house by our qualified and passionate chefs. They work hard to make your food taste great so you can relax and enjoy your event. We’ll even do the dishes for you.

Music, can I play my own? Can I organise live music?
Yes, in some cases you can.
However, this can vary depending on the area you are wanting to reserve. Please note that we are unable to provide technical support for live music and strongly recommend the engagement of an experienced sound engineer- we have a list of recommended sound engineers available upon request. Please read our function pack for further details including sound cut off times and DB limits.

Can I decorate?
Yes, you can!
We just ask that you leave the space as you found it on completion of your event. Some things can be left via arrangement.

Note: NO CONFETTI and NO GLITTER (we don’t wanna be party poopers but that stuff gets EVERYWHERE and we don’t want to make our employees spend any longer at work then they need to)

When is my date and venue confirmed?
Once we have received confirmation of your initial deposit then the venue and date will be confirmed. Deposit prices vary depending on what venue and space you are using.

What if my desired date is not available?
If you are willing to consider a different location we’re sure we can find a space for your event. We are a family of four venues which all have a similar warm, inviting atmospheres and are closely located to each other.
