From Bakersfield to Nashville straight to heart of Melbourne, Honky Tonk Hot Pot is a monthly event that channels the greatest and most authentic sounds and sentiments in country music.  Hosted and led by house band - The Excellent Smithers (featuring members of Mustered Courage/Cisco Caesar) this event will feature amazing special guest musicians every month. This honky tonk party is where you want to be for your chicken pickin’, whiskey swillin’ country fix.

The Excellent Smithers play a hot pot of honky tonk and blues music that'll make you feel like you dunked your head in an Tennessee whiskey barrel and went back for more.
A regular gig will involve shredding telecasters, harmonica solos and flawless singing led by the sweet baritone vocal pipes of James Cisco. Expect to hear equal elements of tasty shufflin' blues, heartbreak honky tonk and break neck speed-country train feels. Production for the debut album in underway with a release expected in March 2018.
