Long-standing, Perth based bluesman Ivan Zar heads to Melbourne for two Saturday afternoon beer garden shows at the Edinburgh Castle. The first on the 8th of April and the second on the 15th of April from 5pm with free entry.

Ivan moved to Perth via his birthplace Alexandria, Egypt in the 1960s and has been playing in blues combos and solo for over 5 decades. He has worked with and supported some of the blues' best known artists including Mick Jagger ('95 solo tour), Dutch Tilders, Hubert Sumlin (Howlin' Wolf) and many others. 

His raw, down home style of blues is a rare gem, heavily undervalued and undeserving of the obscurity so many great musicians remain in to this day.
