Nancy Cole Band plays for the first time at the Edinburgh Castle, singing some occasionally toe-tapping but sometimes joy-sapping tunes for your sunny Friday evening. In the last few years Nancy Cole’s songwriting has emerged from her bedroom and onto the stages of Melbourne’s inner north. Her melodic ruminations on bitterness, love, crocs, and miscellany are embellished with the skills of bassist Chris Hughes and backing vocalist Nicki Williams.
